Hi, I’m Eloise…
I’m a lifestyle photographer and visual storyteller currently based in the beautiful Yarra Valley in Victoria.
My love for photography began in early childhood, shaped by creative parents: my mother, an interior designer and amateur florist who loved capturing my sisters and I on film, and my father, an outdoor-loving photography enthusiast who let me practice on his big DSLR camera during family weekend drives to the countryside. Because of their conscious efforts to cultivate creativity and a graceful home, I now have a deep appreciation for both beauty and visual storytelling and the way they can make us feel and connect to our Creator.
I’ve been forever drawn to the fading art of telling real stories, whether through a lens or with words, and this has always been the heart of my business.
At around 18, I asked God to reveal my life’s purpose - and discovered photography was part of His answer. What started as a hobby soon became a calling, as I was invited to photograph the weddings and meaningful moments of my friends and family. Doors also opened to work overseas across half a dozen countries in South East Asia for a few aid organisations and missional initiatives over several years. Working closely alongside people of all backgrounds and cultures, intertwined with the thrill of capturing a perfect storytelling moment created a deep sense of joy to me and is something I still feel to this day, over a decade later.
My work in South East Asia…
Above, a tiny village in the Ceylon tea fields, Sri Lanka. I spent some time here as photographer for International Children’s Care documenting and capturing the stories of the beautiful people living there. To know them is to know joy!
These lovely Sri-Lankan aunties adopted me. They are a gentle, welcoming and hospitable culture. Whenever I went for a walk in the village, I’d inevitably find myself beckoned over for a cup of freshly brewed orange pekoe in most homes I passed. By the end of my daily walks, I’d feel like I’d drunk several full teapots worth! Needless to say my heart would also be full - with their stories, their love for people and oftentimes, their pain.
A small collection of photos on my prayer board from my time in Philippines - Manilla, Angeles and a little island off Cebu called Siquijor. I spent majority of my time across these three bases as photographer for The Blessed House Project, an amazing mission empowering, training and educating young women and their children rehabilitated from human trafficking and the cybersex trade; and One Hope Microfinance, another wonderful program close to my heart which equips women with small business loans and financial independence.
Continuing on…
In the months I was back in Australia, I worked on my business and led my first photography workshops for groups of young people, discovering a deeper passion not just for creativity, but for helping others pursue their own potential. This developed organically into working alongside a variety of brands and small businesses across Australia since 2018, helping them flourish into success with photography, coaching, re-branding, marketing, social media, graphic design, content, creative direction, styling, copywriting & ad campaigns. I’ve been grateful to have worked with some amazing people - emerging Melbourne fashion designers, candidates of political parties, founders and owners of clinics, accommodation/rental agencies, website developers, tradespeople, publishers, florists, musicians, various e-commerce brands, restaurants, cafes, salons, artisans and even a bull stud cattle station over in Western Australia.
Over time, my lifelong love for storytelling and more recent skills within business development has grown into something more: a Kingdom business community called Greenhouse Entrepreneurs born out of a God-given vision to see the next generation empowered for purpose. I believe now more than ever, the world is craving authentic businesses and communities with heart - for leaders who see them, serve them, and lead with integrity. There’s a seat at the table for those founders in the marketplace who run grassroots businesses built on mission, who do good within communities and won’t compromise their values for applause. You can find more about this mission on instagram @greenhouseentrepreneurs - the official launch of our course, magazine & gatherings coming soon!
Today, I wear a few hats - photographer, business mentor, and faith-led founder - but my heart behind it all remains the same: to help others tell and discover the beauty of stories, live purposefully, and build up communities with intention. If this resonates with you, I’d love to connect!
