Before our session, have a think about any must-have shots that you might need for your specific marketing needs. If you need any props (e.g. tools of your trade, products or things you do in your business), it’s helpful to create a list so you don’t miss out on everything!

Also have a think about the location of your shoot to be aligned with the specific styling and colours in your brand palette. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out and we can have a chat to make we get as many varied and beautiful shots as possible!

If your home or office isn’t ideal for your personal branding photography session or headshots, we can work together to find a perfect alternative!

This may involve hiring a studio or Airbnb, or finding a perfect outdoor location. As a natural light photographer, I don’t usually use studio lights and my set-up is minimum, so anywhere with plenty of windows and natural light is ideal.

Yes! I mostly work within the Yarra Valley to all suburbs across Melbourne and greater Victoria. I am also available for travel interstate and overseas by arrangement (travel fees apply).

For lifestyle and portrait sessions, I recommend picking a colour scheme of two neutral shades with one main colour. Think classic outfits that will stand the test of time.

For your branding session, think about your own personal colours and styling of your business. Do you have a classic monochrome style or more of a fun, down-to-earth vibe? I also recommend bringing several outfits to change into for your shoot to use across different marketing platforms and create a variety in photos.
